The Girl in Red’s Weblog

{March 22, 2008}   Stress less

A few days ago, I had a major stress attack. All my work building up, with other problems to add onto that, and I finally cracked. Of course, what set me off wasn’t anyone being bitchy. It wasn’t me hurting myself in some stupid way. No, it was the printer deciding not to work.

This one little thing (I’m surprised I didn’t through the paper tray out the door or smash the printer with a torch) actually

made me quite hysterical. Mum tried to calm me down and I suspect PD avoided me, the hysterical girl whose stress is making her loopy.

What’s the bet that I’ll go through all this stuff and then when I have holidays with no work, I’ll get sick?

I have just looked up Hot Fuzz on imdb. Apparently, alternative titles include:

Blue Fury (UK) (working title)

Bubblin’ Fizz (UK) (fake working title)

Dead Right (UK) (fake working title)

Feelin’ Fuzzier (UK) (fake working title)

Raging Fuzz (UK) (working title)

Groovy. Imagine telling your friends that you were going to see Bubblin’ Fizz (for those who don’t know, Fuzz is another word for Police). I know it’s a fake title, but still. If you didn’t know what the movie was about, you’d be pretty suspicious. Seriously, Bubblin’ Fizz sounds like the name of a champagne cocktail. Or another fizzy wine. Actually, if it were the name of a drink, I’d probably want to buy it because it sounded nice.

Anyway, Happy Easter!

Hazel says:

Lol… Feelin’ Fuzzier.
Did you know that when you’re stressed, your immune system actually builds up? So in a normal scenario when you’re stressed you won’t get sick as easily. However when you stop stressing, any germs that may be hanging around attack and bam! You’re sick within the first week of holidays.
And with that cheery note, Happy Easter!

thegirlinred says:

Yeah, that’s a REALLY cheery note.
