{May 24, 2008}   I Love Lazy Weekends

Today, my family and I wandered throughout one of those giant gardens. It was sooo gorgeous!!! Next time, I’m taking my camera. We spotted three bridal parties. But there was the most AWESOME swingset ever, so I had a quick swing and felt nostalgic. Plus, I’d switch between two modes: calm and mature and energetic and childlike. Ah, simple pleasures. Complicated ones have their purpose, but sometimes it’s the simple ones that you need. Yeah, I don’t believe in the “Simple pleasures are for simple minds” crap that some people like to pass around. Don’t get me wrong; I like complexity. But the idea that those who like things simple are stupid? Whoever came up with that one is rather ignorant. Anyway, back to my day. There was also this giant road for people with trees covering the sides as you walk down, but near the end was bright sunlight, which made it look like something out of a movie or something. I stroked Cattail plants (‘cos they were all soft). I also had cake in a little cafe. It was absolutely fantastic. Throughout the whole parklands, I felt really nostalgic. I think it vaguely reminded me of stuff from when I was really little.

I also love markets. You find some of the most interesting things there. Malls and stuff are great, but occasionally, it’s nice to visit markets because they have an entirely different atmosphere.

Not Kublai Khan, despite what Alax says says:

Make sure to upload the pictures somewhere and post them here for us to see, if you don’t mind. It’d be nice to see what this garden’s like. :)

And no, I am not the ghost of Genghis Khan’s cherished grandson. I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed no one has clicked who I am yet. :P

I haven’t got pics from then, I just said I needed to take a camera the next time I go. And why won’t you tell me who you are?

Because... says:

It’s so much more fun this way.

And yes, I AM from the DT board, not just some random stalker person who found your link. :P

thegirlinred says:

rachybabes13?

Erm.... says:

Using a name like “rachybabes13″ would require a major lifestyle choice for me. :p

thegirlinred says:

Can you at least tell me something which might narrow down the list?

One word says:

Corkscrew.

thegirlinred says:

CORKSCREW???????? Oh God, I’m never going to find out who you are.

Something creative here says:

Those at IMDB will understand the connection.
