The Girl in Red’s Weblog

Right! So in this post, I’m going to mention a small list of things I find amusing which you might want to check out. The first has a back story. When I was younger, my Mum entered a competition for me. I won a prize pack of Toybox stuff. For all who don’t know, Toybox were a short-lived music group, and while have several songs (probalby on Youtube), they are best known for the song Tarzan and Jane. I got a copy of the single and a VCR just with the film clip. I didn’t get it when I was younger. I just watched it again. It is hilarious. The guy who’s meant to be Tarzan keeps giving a teeth-flashing smile and raises his eyebrows suggestively.

Secondly: Dylan Moran. Especially when he’s live. I got onto him when I watched his live show Monster on TV. I then watched Black Books. I then, without even seeing it, bought his live show Like, Totally (which makes me laugh, still). Really good at the eccentric Irish stuff. Thing is, he gets people.

Let’s see, um… Hot Fuzz! British humour at its best. Actually, in all honesty, I think Doctor Who is funny, but you know. Other TV, um… Spicks and Specks, Top Gear (insanity at its best), Thank God You’re Here (luckily I watch one where they can all improvise), the Armstrong and Miller Show (I wasn’t aware that there was also Armstrong and Miller, but cool). Ah, that’s all the stuff I can think of now. Oh, and Tripod, the musicians.

I finally went back to the Markets! Yay! I got Passionfruit butter (no sugar, but still good), a purple scarf and a pre-loved CD. It was funny, there was this LWD (Little White Dog) which was trotting along with its owner. But here’s the thing: it was wearing a little blue coat for dogs and a mini purple and pink scarf. Along with the trot, it was dressed to the nines! :)

Anywho, I can’t think of anything else to say, so bye-bye!
