Well, this sucks. I’ve just discovered I’m allergic to something, but I don’t know what. I find I get really hot and I get the butterfly effect on my cheeks. It also happen ‘cos I’ve got sensitive skin (I even had an allergic reaction to a bloody Vitamin E cream, of all things). But obviously something I’ve eaten has sent me like this. I don’t think it’s chocolate, but it could be (NO!!!!!!!). Could also be something in my dinner, potatoes, strawberries. Oh, I don’t know. But it sucks and it’s actually been going on for a while. I’ll get hot and my cheeks will go red. I’ll go “Is it just me or is it hot in here?” and the answer will be along the lines of “Err…it’s just you”.
Secondly, Doctor Who! Ah, I hear you say, it’s not a good post without mention of Doctor Who. Well, don’t worry, here it comes. Even though I’ve already seen it, I just watched Voyage of the Damned with Dad. There are only two other Australians (I’m referring to the fact that Ms Minogue was in this episode, obviously) that I can think of who have been in Doctor Who. One played Tegan (who lived in Brisbane, I believe. Her name was Janet Fielding). The other was in the Christmas Invasion as the guy translating for Harriet Jones to whom the Doctor said “Don’t you think she looks tired?” (Adam Garcia. He was in Coyote Ugly and Bootmen, for movie buffs). Hopefully, soon I’ll get to watch Silence in the LIbrary w/PD.
I want to see Narnia already! Probably, I’ll go see Prince Caspian (the Narnia movie, obviously)and Get Smart this week. If I do, I’ll tell you lot what I think WITHOUT spoilers (‘cos you know I’m good like that, no Who spoilers or anything
). I know no one appreciates spoilers so I try not to spoil anything.
Mum is cackling away while reading Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series (either they have Plum in the title or a number). That’s the thing about this series. You know when someone’s reading a Stephanie Plum novel because it’s the same laugh from every person. A sort of cackle.
Okay, that’s enough for today. You’ve already had a post from me. It’s just I thought of some extra stuff (and, unlike the last post I think, something associated with our favourite Timelord). Nighty-night.
