Firstly, I’m trying to understand why the movie industry are so determined to have songs by Natasha Bedingfield in their movies and trailers which cannot be bought on itunes. Seriously, look:

• Pocketful of Sunshine – Easy A movie
• Strip Me – Morning Glory trailer (wanted to see it in the cinemas, but didn’t get to)
• Little Too Much – Something Borrowed trailer (not out yet and I want to see it. John Krasinski seems entertaining)

Apparently Something Borrowed is based on a book by Emily Giffin.

Because I am a totally nerdy Supernatural  fan, I bought Finding Home off Amazon (with Misha Collins aka Castiel). It was corny, but I still kinda liked it. Maybe it was for Misha. Who knows?

FINALLY saw Scott Pilgrim vs The World. It was worth seeing once, but I’m not sure if I’ll see it again. It was kind of weird. But I did love the song Black Sheep. Unfortunately, you can only buy the Metric version and I want the version with Brie Larson singing (I just think she’s better, that’s all).

I saw The King’s Speech with a friend. Not my usual kind of movie, but still good (Colin Firth deserved the Oscar). I also saw No Strings Attached. That was funnier than I expected, and had more sex stuff than I realised (without being too crude).

I’ve read Beastly, which isn’t too bad. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned my reading Torment and Crescendo, but I did like both follow ups. Another book I really enjoyed? I Am Number Four.

I officially became a year older. I gave an old friend one last chance. She said she was coming to dinner at a restaurant for my birthday (albeit with her boyfriend, now her sole reason for living). She texted one of our mututal friends earlier that day and said to tell me that they weren’t coming. She didn’t give a reason, but I know it had something to do with her boyfriend. It always does. So I’ve deleted her number out of my phone and deleted her off my facebook so that I can move on. I haven’t given all the details of what a crappy friend she’s been, but I’m sure you’ll probably believe when I say she hasn’t been a good friend to me for over a year.

Another friend had her birthday. I felt happy for so many reason.

1. Awesome friend
2. She liked the present I got her
3. If you’d asked me whether I’d be there a few years back, I would have said no.

Working is leaving me with sore feet, but I’m happy.

Still waiting for Supernatural S6 on TV & S5 on DVD. Grr. In other news, many people squealed with delight at the news that Misha Collins and his wife now have a son. Congratulations to them (even though they won’t read this).

Read Torment by Lauren Kate (the follow-up to Fallen). I liked it, but I hate the fact that it ended on such a cliffhanger anf that the next one (Passion) won’t come out for 9-11 months. However, forming theories.

Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick should also be out soon (sequel to Hush Hush).

I’ve finally caught up on Doctor Who. I like the way they finished the season. I really like Matt Smith as The Doctor. I didn’t like The Beast Below (they wrote The Doctor poorly – the only thing about that episode that I like is Liz 10). Prefer River’s character in this season, but I still don’t like the idea of her character (because one of the things I liked best about Doctor Who was the fact that you didn’t know what was going to happen. Now, to an extent, you do).

I’ve also gotten a job. I’m still on probation, but doing well so far. Wish me luck.

I’ve been catching up on Doctor Who. I really do like Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor. The last episode I watched was The Lodger (the one where stuff keeps happening upstairs).

So Supernatural Season 6 has started in the US and not here. They also have Season 5 on DVD. Life’s not fair.

Okay, so you know the song Telephone by Lady Gaga? Well, there are a couple of things I reckon you should check out. One is Glee‘s take on the song (actually really good – new girl is talented). The other is the video of the soldiers in Afghanistan making their own film clip for the song (tryin searching “Telephone Afghanistan Remake” on Youtube).

I don’t think I’ll be able to see Scott Pilgrim vs The World until it comes out on DVD. Which is disappointing, ‘cos I think it looks awesome. I really hope I get to see Easy A and The Other Guys.

I’ve rediscovered the film clip for a song I used to love called Jackie by Joanne.  God, it brought back memories. Mainly of all the nineties fashions, but hey.

If you’re into impressions of celebrities, there are two great videos. One’s of Denzel Washington (plus Morgan Freeman, Chris Rock and Bernie Mac) by Reggie Reg, I think (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lffj63XpzA). The other is Kevin Spacey (you MUST look it up) doing improvised impersonations of so many people it’s not funny (and he does it supremely well).

Recently, I watched a movie from a while back called Undercover Blues. It was really funny. It had Dennis Quaid, Kathleen Turner and Stanley Tucci (as Muerte – BAHAHAHA). I wasn’t originally going to watch it with my family, but I got sucked in.

It’s sort of sad. While I was still in high school, I had a fairly good friend. We always talked. Then, towards the end of our senior year, she got her first serious boyfriend. The rest of us have now given up on her. Why? Maybe it’s because she never talks to us anymore (unless she needs help with something or if she wants to talk about her boyfriend). Or maybe it’s because she’s always blowing us off to hang out with her boyfriend. All I know is this: for a friendship to work, you should aim to meet someone halfway. She’s not even aiming for a sixteenth of the distance.

Oh, look up Axis of Awesome 4 Chord Melody on youtube. It is the greatest.

So, songs I’m liking at the moment? California Gurls by Katy Perry (I don’t care if it was produced by the same person who did Tik Tok; this is naughty, but not tacky).

Oh, and I got season 4 of Supernatural on DVD. And guess what? I accidentally found some Easter Eggs!! Not the Ghostfacers ones, either (looked them up later). This doesn’t apply to Bluray people because these Easter Eggs are just regular special features for them. Here are the instructions on how to find them:

 Click on the gag reel. Once playing, press back a scene to go past the gag reel. This leads to a scene between Cas and Chuck. Do the same thing again (while on the Cas/Chuck scene) for a scene between Dean and Sam.

I also found the season 1 Easter Eggs by accident. By the way, I’m only telling you how to access these Easter Eggs because these ones aren’t on any websites or anything (I appear to be the first person to discover them – woohoo!!). Basically, I told one site and I’ve just been telling other people who are interested.

 Found a website (thanks to the ever wonderful Graham Norton Show) called www.funnyexam.com –it’s worth checking out. Another good one is Gives Me Hope – kind of like FML or MLIA, but better.

 Speaking of Graham Norton, you need to check out the most recent one he did with Janet Jackson. The one with Usher is also good (on youtube, search “Usher Goat”).

 There’s an Australian artist called Sia. I found out about her song Buttons from a drama thing I did, but I love her song You’ve Changed. Another one I got into recently is by Diana Vickers and it’s called The Boy Who Murdered Love. Good stuff.

“You said you want to be an actress…but aren’t actresses typically really pretty?”

Okay, firstly, I know I’m pretty. Or rather, know I’m not unattractive (I tend to get wolf whistles or whatever and when I post pics on FB, some photos have people telling me that I look so pretty). Thing is, it wasn’t that that left me reeling (what they said, I mean); it was that they said it and the way they said it. That kind of shocked me. I’m a pretty well liked person, so I wasn’t expecting that kind of thing. I mean, I try really hard to be nice to people and everything. I get along with practically everybody. So I was kind of surprised.

Then after I replied to that, they told me that they feel sorry for me. Also, they paid me out about my username (something to do with knowledge or lack thereof *rolls eyes*).  At first, it bothered me a bit. But the thing is, I remembered that most people like me and there are a whole lot of people who don’t think that the stuff they said is true. And I decided that I just couldn’t let a few haters ruin my life or my self-esteem when there are so many people who aren’t like that to me. Also, it’s gutless. They sit behind their computer screen, typing away their bitchy comments and they enjoy it relatively guilt-free because they never have to see the consequences of their actions. Like that woman who posed as a guy and harrassed one of her daughter’s peers at school until the girl killed herself. They use anonymity as a way to hurt someone, make that person their punching bag. So I walked away. Some might say it’s cowardly or whatever, but I can’t be bothered trying to deal with them anymore. I don’t want to risk actually having them seriously damage me psychologically just because I didn’t want to back down ‘like a coward’.  Besides, they can only make me their punching bag when they can do it anonymously. I take away the only anonymous way of doing it and it stops. In other words, I take away their power.

So this is a warning: do not use formspring. Or for those who’ve copped a bit of cyber bullying because of it; there are probably a whole lot of people who love you and care for you. Either they won’t believe/agree with what the coward is saying to you or they won’t care. Nobody had absolutely no one in the world who doesn’t like them; that’s just not possible. But don’t let a few haters get to you when there are so many who like and love you. And know when to walk away; the coward’s way is to run away, not to walk.
